Brent Wheeler has been tapped as president of RMI Fusion, a subsidiary of Atlanta’s Response Mine Interactive. Having served as the company’s executive vice president and operating partner for the past three years, he now leads the strategy and direction of the organization. “I’m excited to take on this next challenge, and find ways to help both RMI Fusion and its partners continue to grow in the coming year,” said Wheeler.
Since 2002, Brent has helped Response Mine Interactive grow a thriving business focusing on healthcare marketing and in-home services. Ken Robbins, CEO, and founder of Response Mine Interactive is enthusiastic about Wheeler’s new leadership role. “Brent is the ultimate client advocate and direct marketer. He has built this division by hiring great talent and building trusting relationships with national brands in-home services and healthcare,” said Robbins. “His vision and dedication give RMI Fusion unlimited growth potential in serving and growing clients’ businesses.”
With two decades of experience in direct response communications in managing a customer acquisition firm, Brent has forged strong external partnerships, as well as the internal systems to grow customer acquisition solutions at both Response Mine Interactive and RMI Fusion — including the companies’ marketing and sales call centers.
Nine years ago, Wheeler took over the pay-for-performance division (which later became RMI Fusion), growing the business from $800,0000 in yearly revenue to $13 million. The subsidiary operates dozens of websites, as well as a 100-person call center.
In 2015, he took his first company, Back Pain Centers of America, and spun off a separate enterprise, Ancillon Health, LLC, where he now serves as an active board member. Wheeler has put direct response principles and strategies to work for companies like The Home Depot, Terminix, Trugreen, American Home Shield, Rooms To Go, Liberty Medical, and Laser Spine Institute.
Prior to his tenure at Response Mine, Wheeler was a general contractor for The Property Source and a client service representative at Google. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing from the University of North Georgia and is certified in leadership development training at Dale Carnegie.
